On Saturday evening RM Sotheby’s auction takes place at the Peninsula Hotel featuring a stunning selection of lots from a 1900 Mignonette to a 2024 Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar.

Sunday 2nd November is the climax of the week with the world’s longest-running motoring event, marking 125 years since the seminal 1,000 Mile Trial, when early motorists set out to win public trust in cars with an audacious 22-day journey across the UK. The spectacle of over 400 veteran cars roaring down to Brighton from Hyde Park is truly unmissable for those keen to relive the dawn of motoring.
