Highlight of last weekend’s Moda Miami event was undoubtedly RM Sotheby’s sale of cars from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

The  select group of automobiles spanned iconic Edwardian racers and Land Speed Record holders via a Le Mans warrior and a unique piece of Corvette history. Highlight of the sale was the £10 million + result for the 1966 Ford GT40 #1032.

Away from the saleroom and on to the concours lawns, a personal favourite was the Mercedes Benz SSK, winner of the preservation award.
