This weekend around 50 of the most spectacular historic cars from their era will compete for the much-coveted trophies awarded by a jury of distinguished experts. The overall winner of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este will receive the most prized trophy of all – the Trofeo BMW Group.

Glorious Excess: The Evolution of the ‘Money no Object’ Motor Car, 1920-1940
Amongst several anniversaries being celebrated are 100 years of the Rolls Royce Phantom and the 70th birthday of the BMW 507.
